2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1.5 TBSP CHAI FOR TRADITIONAL CHAI BLEND
1 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups chocolate chips (semi-sweet or milk chocolate)
Preheat your oven: to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
Mix: In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, and all the chai for chai spices. Set aside.
Separately, Mix: In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until the mixture is light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
Combine: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Be careful not to overmix. Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the cookie dough.
Distribute On Baking Sheet: Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown but the centers are still soft.
Cool: Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring them to wire racks to cool completely.
